Came for a weeklong stay in August with family (4 adults and 5 kids from 1-9) and had an absolutely great time! Plenty of fun for the kids, great meals, and fairly friendly service.
Staff at Safran restaurant was particularly pleasant, though the manager of the Pinus restaurant seems to be bad choice for a role in hospitality.
Honestly, would have given 5 stars across the board if she alone hadn’t been so unpleasant, unfriendly, and unsuited for her role. I disregarded the first negative interaction with her (everybody has bad days after all) but she continued to prove she was more interested in being a warden than a welcoming host.
They have half-board and full-board options (we were on full-board) yet there are still many small things they charge extra for that don’t seem to make any sense (unlimited beer and wine, but Coke Zero costs extra?!).
As others have said, the on-premises amusement park and pool facilities are very fun for kids of all ages, but some rides / attractions cost extra, which isn’t always clear or logical.
The resort is also conveniently located within 20 minutes of some great sites (Tatralandia Aqua Park, Cave of Liberty, Chopok Mountain, etc), which made for many easy day hikes and convenient excursions.
All in all, highly recommended for family vacations/gatherings (though I suspect couples coming without kids would be a great way to ensure they never have any)
